Can this be used domestically (for household 120VAC)? It would be easier to simply order
120 VAC LED Rope Lights and Accessories.
That being said, the low voltage
12VDC LED Rope Light may be used for domestic/ household (
120VAC) use if you convert your 120VAC power feed to the proper voltage. Since it is designed for use with a 12 volt DC power source, it is
not supplied with an AC adapter.
So, for use with domestic (household) voltage
(120VAC), you would need to first add an appropriately sized step-down converter (see our selection of
LED Converters which not only step the voltage down to 12 volts, but they also convert/rectify it to DC voltage)
