 Description
This energy-efficient, easy to install rheostat style dimmer handles loads up to 10 amps.

The imL rotary dimmers are 12 volt dimmers - 24 volt dimmers that can be used for 12 volt DC and 24 volt DC incandescent, Halogen, and Xenon bulbs; and are suitable for some low power 12 volt and 24 volt LEDs - specifically, these do work with many 12 volt (and 24 volt) LED replacement bulbs, including the Imtra Marine Products and Bee Green replacement 12 volt DC and 24 volt DC LED bulbs. Known exception: not for high flux LEDs with current regulated drivers, not for LED fixtures that state that they require a specific dimmer such as the Imtra PowerLEDs.

The full positive "off" position (rotate until it clicks off) eliminates the need for a separate on/off switch.

Need a mounting method? You can drill a Blanking Module, install the dimmer knob on it, then install the blanking module in a Vimar Idea Mounting Box, and you will want a Cover Plate. Note: the dimmer body is too large to fit in a single gang space, and a 2 gang box is not offered, so you need to measure carefully and think through for your placement of the module. In order to use a single gang box (or a 3 or more gang box with the dimmer control and other switches), you may want to mount the dimmer body next to the mounting box (i.e. in the wall).

  I had just replaced my Instrument panels and decided to put in White gauges and Rocker Switches.The old Dimmer Switch was corroded and needed replacing. The iml Dimmer switch fit great and was easy to instal, all I had to do was paint it white - it works great. Thank you SailorSam
