• Power: 2.4 watts
• Voltage: 12 volt - 24
volt
(10-30 volts DC)
• Current at 12v: 200mA
•
Base: G4 (Bulb style)
• Solid State Reliability
• High Intensity, Superior Lumen Maintenance
• View Angle: 120 degree
• Mean Time Between Failure 40,000 hours
• NO UV, Superior ESD Protection
• Wave Length: 3300-3600
• Color Choices: Warm White,
Red, or
Blue
• Typ. Luminous Flux: 120 Lumens
for the warm white
(Compare to a 10W Xenon or Halogen bulb, which are typically
100 to 140 Lumens, depending on the bulb quality, the fixture, the lens,
and the quality of the reflector, if any. Also, LED bulbs are more direct,
whereas a G4 bulb emits light in all directions). |

What is an LED Converter?
When using LED lights on DC power that is
converted from AC Power (or when using AC-ready LED's), you may
experience noise or fluctuations in intensity. This is typically caused by
non-smooth power characteristics (such as sine wave remnants). This can usually be
resolved with an LED Converter. An LED converter not only converts AC to
DC, it also smoothes out the wave (provides superior voltage regulation),
so your LED's get what they need in a regulated dosage.
In other words, some LED's can be used
on AC power (check the specifications). Others can be used only on DC
power. The bottom line is, in either case, if your power source is AC (or
was converted from AC instead being sourced from a battery or solar cell), an LED Converter
can be used to eliminate noise or fluctuations in intensity. |
