• The Contoure^TM 2 burner electric cooktops are available for 120 volts or 240 volts.

INNOVATIVE ELECTRIC COOKTOPS:

The innovative 2 Burner, 120 V Contoure Electric Cooktop has a special 20 Amp feature so it can be used on a 20 amp circuit breaker, even though it has 2 x 1200 watt burner elements.

The Contoure^TM 2 Burner Electric Cooktop 120 volt, 20 amp feature is very helpful in retrofit situations, as well as new construction. This special 20 amp feature makes these one of the best electric cooktops for adaptation to most hotel suites, condos, homes, cabins, rental properties, 2nd kitchens, RV's and yachts.

Regarding retrofit situations: Other 120 volt, 2 burner electric cooktops may require a 25 or 30 amp circuit breaker, and heavier wiring due to the higher current draw. Still others have lower current draw only because they have less powerful burners and may not heat as well.

Contoure^TM Electric Cooktop circuit breaker requirements:

• 120 volt, 1 burner Contoure^TM Electric Cooktop requires 10 amp breaker

• 120 volt, 2 burner Contoure^TM Electric Cooktop requires 20 amp breaker

• 240 volt, 2 burner Contoure^TM Electric Cooktop requires 15 amp breaker

Contoure^TM Cooktops are designed to be hardwired (no power plug is provided). All Stoves Feature a 42”, 12 gauge, 3 wire cable that is supplied with a conduit for ease of installation. You may want to hire a licensed electrician to connect your unit.
