ELECTRIC COOKTOPS:
The innovative
2 Burner, 120 V Contoure Electric Cooktop has a
special 20 Amp feature so it can be used on
a 20 amp circuit breaker, even though it has 2 x 1200
watt burner elements.
The ContoureTM 2 Burner Electric Cooktop 120
volt, 20 amp feature is very helpful in retrofit situations,
as well as new construction.
This special 20 amp feature makes these
one of the best electric cooktops for
adaptation to most hotel suites, condos, homes,
cabins, rental properties, 2nd kitchens, RV's and
yachts.
Regarding retrofit situations: Other
120 volt, 2 burner electric cooktops may require a
25 or 30 amp circuit breaker, and heavier
wiring due to the higher current draw. Still others
have lower current draw only because they have less
powerful burners and may not heat as well.
