These cowl vents are
precision cast 316 stainless steel. Their one piece
construction makes them the most durable cowl vents
available (no welds to corrode). The Titan TuffTM
gold finish never requires polishing. The inside of the cowl
vents are finished with a durable, white powder coating
(this is far more durable than the traditional painted
inside finish for the average cowl vent). Photo on left
shows cowl vent screwed into optional deck plate.
Each 3" cowl vent includes a
thumb screw to adjust the direction of the cowl vent mouth
(vent can be rotated to reduce air intake during
inclement/colder weather).
Optional deck plate kits include an "O" ring seal,
Titan TuffTM gold finish cover, and a galvanized
key. The cowl vent can then be removed from the deck plate,
and the deck plate cover can be installed to totally seal
off the opening. Deck plates are predrilled for
installation with four #10 screws (screws not included).

Shipping
time FYI for ABI products: This product will
ship direct to you from ABI in Santa Rosa, California. It generally
takes them 10 business days to process an order.
Then it will take the shipping
company (UPS or FedEx) a business
day or two in transit on the west coast, or a week to 8 business days to
the east coast, depending on your location.
Expediting
Orders from ABI: You
may ask for Next Day, 2nd Day or 3 Day freight (for which the freight
company will require a surcharge).
These expedited orders do normally get shipped promptly, provided the product is in stock and
provided
you place your order before 11:00 am, Pacific Time for ABI products (we do need time to get
the order to ABI, and in periods of heavy volume, the earlier you order,
the better the odds).
