The ICM-D1205 LED Dimmers
are for use on 12 or 24 Volt
DC Systems (28 VDC
Max). The
voltage output is always 12 volts
in either case, and they are
compatible with specific 12 Volt LED's
lights as listed below. Not all LED lights are built the
same, so there is no implied compatibility with other lights.
Damage may occur if used improperly. There is no warranty if
connected to non-compatible lights.
Colors: brass color, chrome, matt silver, sandstone, and white.
Great for new
installations & for retrofits - easily replaces an
existing switch with the addition of a ground connection (install in-line between 12
or 24 volt power source and
the LED lights, and connect third wire to ground).
Input Voltage 12 Volts DC or
24 Volts DC (28 Volts DC max)
Output Voltage: 12 Volts DC
Max Load: 10 Watts (7 watts
recommended maximum).

Wire LED Dimmer ICM-D1205
-
New
installations:
Make a cutout for the 2.125" diameter housing directly
into your wall panel. Seat the housing into the wall cutout
and mark the wall for 4 pilot holes to match the housing
corner screw hole pattern. Remove the housing. Drill the
pilot holes in the wall. Wire the dimmer to your wiring in
the wall. Seat the dimmer housing into the wall cutout. Seat
the dimmer guts in the housing, pushing the excess wire into
the wall. Install 4 mounting screws to hold the housing to
the wall, and snap the bezel into place (this hides the
mounting screws).

To retrofit
into an existing switch housing, you may want to mount
the LED Dimmer D1205 onto a blank wall plate that fits
onto your existing switch housing (similar procedure to the
preceding paragraph).
Standard
Blank Wall plates that fit standard residential style
electrical switch boxes are available in various colors from
hardware stores and electrical suppliers.
