Introducing the Mediterranean Cooktops, a
veritable sea of features with attractive and stylish
graphics. Subtly textured black glass, beveled edge
design, durable, and easy to clean, with safety features
uniquely Kenyon. Experience the NEW "clean design" power
packed 36" five burner model cook top with connecting
bridge element, offering seven convenient cooking
configurations in 240 volts. For the compact kitchen or
hospitality suite, one and two burner models available
in 120 or 240 volts, with push-to-turn controls,
infinite heat control and quick-to-heat radiant ribbon
elements. Safety features include heat limiting cooking
surface protectors, an On indicator light for each
burner, and a Hot burner indicator light. And as all
Kenyon Custom products, backed by uncompromising quality
and an exclusive 3-year replacement warranty.

AVAILABILITY: It
is very helpful to plan ahead, and to let us know of
your plans. One or two Kenyon cooktops can usually be
supplied fairly promptly. Allow approximately 4 weeks or
more for production of larger orders. So that your
cooktops can be ready when you want them,

your intentions as early as possible!!!

Which voltage cooktop should you get? |
Generally, the higher voltage (240
volt cook top) is preferred, as higher voltage is more efficient. Use
correspondingly sized pots and pans and you will enjoy best results. It
may be best to order the cooktop for which you have power readily
available. For example, if you are replacing another electric cooktop,
it is probably best to order the same voltage, as you may already have
the proper wiring in place. To make the best choice, you may want to
ask a licensed electrician in your area, which electric cooktop /
voltage would be best for your application (show them the chart that is
directly above this paragraph).

Note: for best transfer
of heat, your pot or pan must be appropriately sized relevant to the
diameter of the burner. The 6.5 inch, 1200 watt, 120 volt burner
actually can make water boil faster than the 8 inch, 1400 watt, 120 volt
burner, presumably due to more BTU being directed towards fewer square
inches of surface area at the point of heat transfer, as well as less
metal in the pot/pan to absorb heat. 240 volts is often stated to be
more efficient, but as you can see above, it can be much slower to
produce results, especially in the (smaller) 1200 watt burner elements.

POWER CORD: Kenyon
cooktops include a power cord that is approximately 50 inches long, with
approximately 42 inches of conduit. There is no plug on the end, as these
are typically hardwired.
