bezel. |
Mounting Suggestions:
-
New installations:
first make a cutout for the 2.125" diameter housing
directly into your wall panel. Seat the housing into the
wall cutout and mark the wall for 4 pilot holes to match the
housing corner screw hole pattern. Remove the housing. Drill
the pilot holes in the wall. Wire the switch assembly to
your wiring in the wall. Seat the switch housing into the
wall cutout. Install 4 mounting screws to hold the housing
to the wall. Seat the switch assembly in the housing and
snap the bezel into place (this hides the mounting screws
and holds the switch assembly).

To
retrofit into an existing
switch housing, you may want to mount the switch onto a
blank wall plate that fits onto your existing switch housing
(similar procedure to the preceding paragraph).
Standard Blank Wall plates
are available in various colors from hardware stores and
electrical suppliers. Standard wall plates fit standard
residential style electrical switch boxes.
Matching
Dimmer Switches Available: The Euro Switches (4860 series)
and the Dimmer Switches (D1201 AND D1224 series) have the
same faceplate outside dimensions of 2.36" x 2.36".
