The IML Marine Switch system is assembled from modular parts, and allows for a lot of choices. You can install switches, receptacles / electrical outlets, dimmers and other components. Items are ordered separately.

IML Top System switching devices are easy to install, and feature a clean, simple design in a range of finishes and sizes. Installation requires four components: a mounting box (Sections 5 through 8 below), support grid (Section 4 below), switching devices or other components (Sections 2 and 3 below), and a face plate (Section1 below). Surface mount options and water proof options are also available. Exceptions: Watertight Face Plates and Watertight Enclosures have an integral grid and face - ready to accept components; Specialty Boxes are a complete box with grid and self-supporting face plate - ready to accept components.

Decorative Face Plates - Round, soft edges portray a contemporary look to these polymer face plates. A scratchproof enamel finish guarantees years of quality finish without maintenance. Available in 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6-gang. Face plate dimensions are shown above. Smallest STANDARD box size is a 3-gang box (also use for 1 and 2 gang setups - the face plate covers the extra space). Specialty Application 1 Gang and 2 Gang Boxes can be purchased. Exceptions: Watertight Face Plates and Watertight Enclosures have an integral grid and face - ready to accept components; Specialty Boxes are a complete box with grid and self-supporting face plate - ready to accept components. Support grid (top image) fits into box (lower image). IML System Switches, Receptacles, Lightop Dimmers and Blanking Modules install into Support Grid. Box dimensions shown on order page.

Available for 1-, 2-, 3-, 4- and 6-gang setups (Note: 1, 2 and 3 gang supports all fit into 3 gang boxes / the 3 gang box is the smallest size available), except for the Specialty Application 1 Gang and 2 Gang Boxes shown below.

5. Boxes for New Construction

Oval Mounting Boxes

Oval Mounting Boxes mount into the access hole from in front of the wall (easy to retrofit into existing wall). Oval boxes available in 3 Gang (also use for 1 and 2 Gang setups), and 4 Gang. All oval boxes have depth adjustment to accommodate various wall thicknesses.
