Combining
the latest generation Luxeon LEDs with proprietary high
performance drive electronics and high efficiency optics,
Imtra introduces a high output LSA (LED Spotlight
Assembly) specifically designed to satisfy the demands of
the marine market. Performance is comparable to today's
typical 20W halogen spots but with a fraction of the
energy consumption (5.5W) and with no radiated heat! The
Newport PowerLED will operate off 10-30VDC (or 10-30VAC
from magnetic transformer/do not use with electronic
transformer). It will not interfere with any on-board
electronics. It contains a PWM dimmer interface allowing
full dimming ability with no change in color temperature.
Light color
choices include *warm white,
cool white, red, and cyan. Trim rings available in several
finishes.

WARM WHITE LED's
produce a softer light output, whereas the COOL WHITE
LED's are more of a pure white light (which can actually
look bluish and is sometimes considered harsh, as with
fluorescent lights). Depending on your application, most
people prefer WARM white LED's (best for most
applications).
A built-in dimmer interface allows for
effortless touch-control dimming
of up to 15 PowerLED's using the
Imtra IML
PowerLED PWM Dimmer.
