Which voltage
cooktop should you get?
Generally, the higher voltage (230 volt cooktop) is
preferred, as higher voltage is more efficient. All of
the Origo electric cooktops heat to full power in just 3
seconds. The burner elements are all 6.5" in diameter -
so use correspondingly sized pots and pans and you
will enjoy the best results. It may be best to order
the cooktop for which you have power readily available.
For example, if you are replacing another electric
cooktop, it is probably best to order the same voltage,
as you may already have the proper wiring in place. To
make the best choice, ask a licensed electrician which
Origo electric cooktop / voltage would be best for your
application (show them the chart that is directly above
this paragraph).
POWER CORD LENGTH:
The Origo Electric Cooktops are provided with a power
cord that is approximately 2 feet long. It is designed
to be "hard-wired" to a junction box by a licensed
electrician. As such, this unit does not have an
AC power plug on the power cord. We assume no
responsibility for improper installation. Improper power
connection can damage components and will void your
warranty.
REGARDING
AVAILABILITY:
For larger orders of
Origo cooktops, please call 8 to 12 weeks in advance to
confirm & schedule availability. Otherwise, you may have
to wait for parts sourcing, assembly, and ocean transit.
So that your cooktops can be ready when you want them,
please let us know
of your intentions as early as possible!!! |
