| The Portland Power
LED Bi-Color offers a
full-brightness white LED (warm white or cool white) that
will match other Imtra PowerLED spots and fixtures in both
style and light output with the addition of a secondary
color (red).

*The white LED is fully-dimmable with the
use of our PWM dimmer and a momentary switch.
A three-position switch may be used to
toggle between the two different LED colors and full off.
This light is ideally suited for the
helm area and nighttime navigation.
Choice of LED
colors:
3 watt WARM WHITE LED or
3 watt COOL WHITE LED;
with 0.3 watt RED secondary LED.
*A built-in dimmer interface allows for
effortless touch-control dimming
of up to 30 white Portland PowerLED's using the
Imtra IML
PowerLED PWM Dimmer. To clarify, the White LED is
dimmable, whereas the red and blue LEDs in the Portland
are not dimmable (the red and blue are low luminosity).

What is an LED Converter?
When using LED lights on DC power that is
converted from AC Power, you may
experience noise or fluctuations in intensity. This is typically caused by
non-smooth power characteristics (such as sine wave influence). This can usually be
resolved with an LED Converter. An LED converter not only converts AC to
DC, it also smoothes out the wave (provides superior voltage regulation),
so your LED's get what they need in a regulated dosage.
The bottom line is, if your power source is
noisy (such as if it
was converted from AC instead of being sourced from a battery or solar
cell), you may find an LED Converter is the best solution (not all
transformers / power supplies are of the same caliber).
LED converters are designed
specifically to power LED's.

Red Wire + Positive lead for Dimmer

Black Wire - Negative Lead
for Dimmer Module and LED fixture (connects both LED's)
White Wire: Dimming + Input Signal.
Gray
Wire: Dimming - Return. Connect the Dim-Return (gray
wire) of the dimmer to the Dim-Return (gray wire) of the
IML PowerLED.
Orange: Positive lead for Red LED
