Power
Options -
Recommended -
One of the
following Power Connection Options can be very useful with your
Incandescent
or LED
Rope Lighting. Choose carefully to assure that you make the
appropriate choice. Warranty does NOT cover issues caused by
incorrect wiring on your part. If unsure, call us and/or hire a
licensed electrician. |

Power
Options 2A through 2E use a 6' Power Cord Kit. It has a
connector assembly with pins that push into the end of the
rope light, making connection with the wires inside the
rope light jacket. A compression fitting is then tightened
to hold the Power Cord to the Rope Light, as shown below.

Power Option 2F
Easy Splice Connector
- If
you are handy with a soldering iron, you may want to use
the "Easy Splice / Invisible Splice" connector to make a
compact, custom connection. This method should only be
used by persons with expert knowledge of electrical
systems. Use only with appropriate voltages and
corresponding rope lights. Note that LED lights may
flicker if powered by AC Voltage - A rectifier can
eliminate the flicker. This item does NOT contain a
rectifier.
