The Sydney
LED
Reading Light is elegantly detailed.
Order below
Pivoting
LED
reading light using a high-power 3 Watt Luxeon
LED
for superior light output and best-in-class performance
(intensity equivalent to a 10 watt halogen bulb)
Ideal for "over the
shoulder" reading, this LED fixture is
a breakthrough in comfort and safety.
This solid brass
LED
reading light is constructed for years of trouble free
service.
The small base makes for
versatile mounting on tight bulkhead areas; or on ceilings as
well.
The pivoting head swings 180
degrees side to side and 90 degrees up and down.
This reading light mounts
easily and securely with two screws through the base (no
complicated brackets or delicate sub-bases to contend with). |
Sydney LED Reading Light
Features &
Benefits:
Low amp draw
No radiated heat (safe to touch)
Large diameter head for ease of handling
180° swiveling head (90° up/down)
Small base for versatility of installation
WARM WHITE
LED's produce a softer
light output, whereas the COOL WHITE LED's are more of a
pure white light (which can actually look bluish and is
sometimes considered harsh, as with fluorescent lights).
Depending on your application, most people prefer WARM white
LED's (best for most applications). The Sydney LED
Reading Lights have warm, white LED's.

What is an LED Converter?
When using LED lights on DC power that is
converted from AC Power, you may
experience noise or fluctuations in intensity. This is typically caused by
non-smooth power characteristics (such as sine wave influence). This can usually be
resolved with an LED Converter. An LED converter not only converts AC to
DC, it also smoothes out the wave (provides superior voltage regulation),
so your LED's get what they need in a regulated dosage.
The bottom line is, if your power source is
noisy (such as if it
was converted from AC instead of being sourced from a battery or solar
cell), you may find an LED Converter is the best solution (not all
transformers / power supplies are of the same caliber).
LED converters are designed
specifically to power LED's.
