A 6", retractable cleat that can be placed in a "stowed" position that lies flat in its housing. Black cleat snaps into the white, nylon bed to remove obstacles while rolling coolers, grills, kayak carts, etc. around your dock!

dock cleats

I seen these dock cleats on line and it reminded me of some that I had seen on a dock before but I didn't know where to get them. we have children up at our lake and having them dock cleats on the dock is very comforting knowing that the children will not get hurt by running into them. I was also really impressed by there strength. I would highly recommend these to anyone.
