New Wave Scraper is a dive tool designed specifically for chipping hard growth from the hulls and running gear of boats kept in the water.
Scraper blades have rounded corners so there is no gouging of fiberglass, bronze or nibral.
The blades are fabricated from high quality hardened 301 Stainless Steel with a brushed finish and Series 316 hardware. The New Wave Scraper will accommodate a diver with years of trouble free use in the harshest marine environments.
The blade is affixed to a high visibility, low-fatigue safety grip for serious underwater work.
The New Wave Scraper utilizes a low-fatigue grip that is designed to seat comfortably in a glove hand between thumb and forefinger. This “web wedge” distributes the load on the web between fingers instead of directly on the fingers.
The “web wedge” also keeps hands from sliding up the handle onto the blade, allowing for concentration of what you’re scraping instead of how.
