I purchased two of these. One for the pilot house and another for the fly bridge. The action is smooth and they work as advertised. The only hitch was that I have a vetus stern drive (different brand) and that required some extra wiring as Vetus switches on and off on the positive feed and side power uses the negative side of the solenoid for the switch. This required purchasing an extra part from sidepower for another 100 bucks. But it works great.
