Description

Stainless Steel, 17 Lb. anchor with simple and strong construction - the rollbar and spade tip are designed to be removable from the shank so you can have a sturdy, stainless steel anchor stored for emergencies or ready to deploy.

The 17 pound stainless anchor is excellent as a lunch anchor for 11,000 lb. / 25-30 ft. boats and working anchor for 5,000 lb. / 20-25 ft. boats.

Each 17 pound anchor employs a reinforced spade tip and roll bar for peerless stability and setting speed. Sturdy bolts fix the digging end to the shank (a no-weld design), allowing for compact storage and quick deployment.

Additional Information:

Formed out of high quality steel plate. Contains no cast parts.
Shank and shank boot are welded from top and bottom.
Shank and roll bar are bolted to the fluke.
ASTM certified steel bolts are oversized with a large margin to ensure safety.
Although the shank is attached to the fluke with 4 bolts, a single bolt has sufficient strength to handle the maximum expected load on the anchor.
Stainless Steel anchors feature a 2205 Duplex shank and 316L stainless steel fluke. The surface is hardened by shot-peening and then electro-polished to provide maximum corrosion resistance.
Sharp-headed nose is precision machined to achieve the perfect chisel shape to achieve maximum penetrating power.
