2 pound Stainless Steel Mantus Dinghy Anchor kit includes the collapsible 316SS anchor, 50 ft. of 5/16 double-braid line, a 1/4" stainless shackle, nose protector, and a strong stowing bag. Mantus Anchors' fast set 2 lb dinghy anchor allows for compact storage and easy bolt disassembly with unmatched stability and set time.

The Mantus is not welded, allowing for easy disassembly and compact storage if needed.

Additional Information:

Formed out of high quality steel plate. Contains no cast parts.
Shank and shank boot are welded from top and bottom.
Shank and roll bar are bolted to the fluke.
ASTM certified steel bolts are oversized with a large margin to ensure safety.
Although the shank is attached to the fluke with 4 bolts, a single bolt has sufficient strength to handle the maximum expected load on the anchor.
Stainless Steel anchors feature a 2205 Duplex shank and 316L stainless steel fluke. The surface is hardened by shot-peening and then electro-polished to provide maximum corrosion resistance.
Sharp-headed nose is precision machined to achieve the perfect chisel shape to achieve maximum penetrating power.
LIFE TIME WARRANTY Mantus Anchors offers a lifetime warranty on its anchors.

Clever, stowable dinghy anchor

Bought this on the basis of a Practical Sailor review to replace an 8 lb mushroom. Needed something stowable that would provide significantly more holding power. This product seems to deliver using an easy assembly/disasembly design that does not require tools. Still to early here in the Northeast to try it out in the real world, but it readily fits in my forward dinghy locker.
